This is our front porch at our new house, and the next photos are of the new studio. I called in for the final inspection yesterday and I am waiting on the inspector to come over and give us the "ok". The next step is to pull the electrical permit and run some power to the building.Granted, it is not a true final inspection until the power is run but it a final for my concerns because we weren't sure when and if we would get power to it.

There are a lot of new things happening here at Youngs Cove Pottery! Thanks to Nathan Jordan, I now have a new website! It is based in Joomla and allows for a blog and several other "new to me" tools to have fun with and keep in touch with everyone. Nathan is patiently teaching me how to utilize all of its massive power to slowly take over the world.

Well, along with the new website comes a new studio. On top of that, I have moved to a new home. I was located in Candler for several years in an area called Youngs Cove, hence the name, Youngs Cove Pottery. I have decided I will keep the name even though the location has changed. My kiln is temporarily still located at my old home and I will try and rebuild it here at the new home as soon as possible.
Of course, as with all new buildings, we had to start by digging holes and building the floor system.
